The Cosy Victorian Christmas Bookshop – 1:24 Printable Book Nook Kit has 300-DPI printable sheets, real-depth 3D fold-up props, 2 forced-perspective hanging signs, SVG cut files and an MP3 soundscape, with solderless 3 V LED wiring. No wooden shell needed: build the 136 × 190 × 92 mm (inside) shell from black 5 mm foamboard with the included template, or use any 1:24 shell of that size.

Easy beginner build: print, cut, score, fold and glue with a craft knife, ruler, PVA and a home printer. No soldering, 3D printing or woodwork. Good for first-timers and older children (with an adult).

• 4 light zones: streetlamp, bookshop window light box, flickering brazier and the backlit rose window.
• Solderless 3 V wiring: two 5-port lever connectors, one wire per lever, powered by a switched 2 × AAA holder hidden in the "A Christmas Carol" postbox.
• Hidden wires: one 8 mm floor hole under the postbox and small pin-holes; nothing shows from the front.
• Real-depth 3D props: tree in a barrel tub, cast-iron brazier, sledge of parcels, book stacks, a cat and cocoa mugs, each with a hidden core so they stand out from the scene.
• Forced perspective: Ye Olde Bookshoppe (36 × 22 mm) near the front and St. Nicholas Toys (28.6 × 17.5 mm) further back make the lane look deeper.
• Full-depth floor: front 136 × 50 mm + rear 136 × 42 mm = 92 mm.
• Placement plan: every part has a measured position, checked to fit with no clashes.
• Every sheet: numbered parts, cut / fold / glue key and a 50 mm check bar; 12-step build order.
