Step into the Ice Queen's winter throne room: carved ice pillars, an icicle valance, a gothic arched window glowing with the northern lights over snowy mountains, a crystal ice throne on a two-step dais, an icicle chandelier, drifting snowflake garlands, a snowy owl on a stack of frosted books, an arctic fox, a frosted mirror and a little wooden sleigh.

No wooden shell needed: Sheet 7 is a box template (plus a foamboard cutting template) so you can build the 136 × 190 × 92 mm nook from black foamboard or card, or fit everything into a ready-made 1:24 shell. No soldering, no 3D printing, no woodwork.

Easy beginner build

Print at 100% on A4, cut, score the dashed fold lines, fold and glue the grey tabs. Every part has a code that matches the numbered build order in the 7-page manual. You only need scissors or a craft knife, a metal ruler, PVA glue and a home printer.

• Sheet 1: 6A/6B carved ice pillars, frost-column wire conduits and snow-drift skirting
• Sheet 2: gothic window frame, frost medallions and 2 frost banners in graduated sizes for a forced-perspective look (24 mm at the front, 18 mm further back)

• Sheet 4: snowy flagstone floor and frosted vault ceiling

3D DEPTH PROPS (4-page PDF) Solid fold-ups with real depth: crystal ice throne with a two-step dais, icicle chandelier, snowy owl, stack of frosted books, arctic fox, frosted mirror on a stand, wooden sleigh and six ice-crystal shards. Each is built as a front, a mirrored back and a hidden core of its true depth, plus a top-and-front placement plan that keeps the aurora window clear.

Lights and sound

4 solderless 3 V lights: a blue glow behind the throne, a cool-white chandelier, a slow colour-fade aurora behind the window and an ice-sconce niche. MP3 loops of howling winter wind, soft ice chimes, creaking ice and distant bells.
